Does Kat hand autograph every book?

If you request for your book to be signed, then Kat will sign them lovingly by hand. You'll find it on the cover flap, or the top corner of the first page. (Back inside page for board books). This can add a day to your order for new releases, as we only have one Kat!

Classic Enamelware Q & A's:

HAND BUILT: Our enamelware is hand dipped with an extra thick enamel glaze, and then fired in the kiln in extremely high temperatures. This can be repeated numerous times, depending on the product. During this process, the glaze reacts during the firing process, giving each piece its own varying character and finish. This process can result in slight texture on the enamel, or small imperfections... but also, helps to create a stronger, more durable product.

  • Food safe
  • Enamelware is NOT suitable for children under 3 years.

If I chip my enamelware, is it still safe to use?

This enamelware is shatterproof, although if dropped the outer porcelain layer can chip. If this happens, the steel below naturally oxidises.

  • DO NOT use if there are chips coming away or if there are any sharp edges.
  • DO NOT use if the food area (or drinking rim) is chipped or damaged.

The enamelware can be recycled, by dropping to your local scrap metal, or returning to us.

Enamel care instructions

  • DO NOT use in microwave.
  • Avoid using abrasive sponges or brushes as this may scratch the surface.
  • Dishwasher safe, but hand-washing will help to reduce wear & tear.
